  1. Balance in Nature and humans comes when we make the right choices and inculcate the right habits that are in sync with nature. Balance is brought about by what we do to the environment around us and how we treat our mind and body.
  2. According to Ayurveda, everything is composed of the five elements from a tree to a human being and these are the building blocks. And therefore to stay in balance this relationship has to be respected and we all must constantly strive for this balance.

  5. Balance is a TIGHT ROPE WALK WITH A BALANCING ROD and any loss of balance will ultimately lead to imbalance in mind as well as body.
  6. Ayurveda is not a series of medicines or treatments that address symptoms or particular ailments, it is aimed at treating the whole person – the mind, body and spirit – in order to create a balance that will ensure optimum health and well being.
  7. The author of ancient Ayurvedic texts Charak wrote “The healthy life has three main pillars – Ahar (a balanced diet ), Nidra (proper and adequate sleep )and Brahmacharya (healthy sex life and mental hygiene)”.
  8. The objective of Ayurveda is to re-establish equilibrium when ill and to maintain equilibrium to keep healthy and for this, the balance in nature and self is of utmost importance.
  9. Inner harmony is achieved through diet, exercise, lifestyle, meditation, maintenance of psychological well being and the serenity that comes with self-awareness
