Ingredients for Avocado dip:
An avocado dip you can make with lesser ingredients in two minutes! This is also a great spread for tacos.
- 2 large avocados, halved and pitted
- ½ cup lightly packed fresh cilantro
- ⅓ cup lime juice (from about 2 ½ limes)
- 1 small jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons water, add as required
- ½ teaspoon fine sea salt or rock salt
Preparation method:
- Using a spoon, scoop the flesh of the avocados into a food processor or blender.
- Clean and add the cilantro, lime juice, jalapeño, water, and salt.
- After that blend, the mixture to a creamy texture, add water to adjust consistency in case it is too thick.
- Salt can be added as per taste. Using rock salt is preferred.
- Transfer the avocado sauce to a small serving bowl and this sauce keeps well in the refrigerator, covered, for about 4 days.
